There is always the potential for glitches in the computer system and thus sometimes scheduling errors will happen. Examples of scheduling errors include:
The student is placed in Spanish 3,4 but the student got a D in Spanish 1,2 and therefore must repeat the Spanish 1,2 class.
The student is placed in two of the same classes
The student is not placed in a class for one Period , therefore the student has an open period.
Changes in a class schedule because of a scheduling error are normally taken care of by counselors during pre-school registration. Once school starts, the only student-initiated change that will be made is if there is a scheduling error that was not corrected earlier OR if a students feels they are in a class that is the wrong level. Students are absolutely not allowed to "teacher shop" under any circumstances. Students should go to the counseling office during the period that contains the error with a pass from their teacher to fix any errors.
