Salomon

The subject of this photo is a ski boot and ski waxing tables. It was taken in the ski room. I first noticed the three tables with primary colors. As I was taking pictures of them a fellow skier was trying to be annoying by putting their foot in the shot. I quickly realized that their boot would be helpful in creating depth in the photo. The boot leads the viewers eyes to the center but the tables create lateral lines which move the eyes to the far right. I also used selective focus. Salomon boots are a dying style, a style that Freeport uses much more than other schools. I am one of the skiers that uses them. I think this image would be stronger if the bag on the floor was not in the photo.
