I originally wanted to take my lighting photo using UV lights because they are not visible to humans but they show up in photos. I thought that the assignment was due on Tuesday so I didn't do it. At 10:30 I realized that it was due on Friday so I reached into my photo bank and used this one. I made some edits to this image and made the color really nice but when I tried it in b&w, I realized I liked that even more. I tried cropping the image in a few ways but I didn't like how any of the crops turned out so I ended up leaving it as it was. This image uses soft focus and rule of thirds/ informal balance. I set up this image by placing the sun in the middle of the screen and capturing the refraction. This image captures my study subject pretty well because it includes technology and nature. If I could change one thing, I would remove the birdhouse or make the focus sharper.
