12. Scratchboard

ARTIST STATEMENT:

This project is another project that I am really proud of. The assignment for this was to take a picture and redraw it on scratch board. For those who don't know, scratch board is paper that is black and that has white plastic underneath the black that will come out when you scratch away the black. This project, though I am proud of it, came with a lot of difficulties. First, I accident did an extra row of the window (the white) and I had to take one out, making my cats face seem fatter than it is in real life. And second, I used a grid to do this project, and I realized too late that you could see the grid clearly in certain areas. I still like this project a lot, though.
