Wearable Sculpture

Artist's Statement:

This is my wearable sculpture. It is a snake. The snake is "biting" in my head. My inspiration was a picture of the internet.

I did the snake out of newspaper and paper mache. The skin is just out of shiny paper. The paper worked really well because it was sticky on the bottom. So I just had to put it on. It was really hard to figure out how the snake should stay on my head. But I am just going to hold it. It was also really time consuming to cut the paper. I think the shiny paper gives the snake a really special and interesting look.

Overall this project was really fun.
