Look Inside saculpture

Artist's Statement:

The subject of this artwork is " The three little Pigs". The materials I used were sculpey, straw, wood, aluminum foil and paper. The elements of art that I used were color, texture and form. The principles of design that I used were balance and movement. The meaning behind my sculpture is that the story comes to life. The wulf is walking out of the book and he had already destroyed the strawhouse. It was really difficult for me to work with the superglue. I tried to clue on the ruff with the superglue and the clue got always stuck to my hand. Besides that it was really fun to do the project especially the pigs. For the next time I would try to glue the pages better on the book. There are a lot of wrinkles.

I chose that story because I really like the message. The message is that if you work hard you are going to be longer happy like the third little pig who built his house out of brick. At the end he was happy because he lifed.
