Advanced Placement (AP)
Advanced Placement (AP) courses are designed to be the most rigorous courses offered at the high school level. Students enrolled in AP courses take a final test in May for the subject they have been studying. There is a fee to take the test and the sign up is done at the high school. At Morse, Mrs. Rouillard-Hill collects the money. We also have money to help students pay the fee if they qualify using the reduced and free lunch program guidelines.
Often, students are able to use their AP test scores for college credit or placement. This site gives more specific information on how the amount of credit awarded and how credits are applied at different colleges and universities.
