School Based Health Center
School-based health centers (SBHCs) help keep students healthy and in school so parents can stay at work. LincolnHealth offers SBHC services at Medomak Valley High School, Boothbay Regional High School, Lincoln Academy, and Morse High School. Local SBHCs are staffed by LincolnHealth care team members who evaluate and treat medical conditions such as:
Coughs and colds
Strains and sprains
Immunizations
Ear aches
Acne
Reproductive health
Sore throat
Flu
Well-child checks
Behavioral health services are provided at LincolnHealth SBHCs by licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) and other professionals who are placed directly on school campuses and can help with:
Relationship problems
Anger management
Alcohol or drug use
Academic struggles
Gender identity/sexuality concerns
Family issues
Self-esteem
Anxiety
Depression
