The sleep health unit on sleep health covers the following topics:
Puberty and Reproduction. The unit begins with a recap of puberty and reproduction, including the physical changes that occur during puberty and the basics of the reproductive system.
Sexual Anatomy and Physiology. The unit covers sexual anatomy and physiology, including the different parts of the male and female reproductive systems, and how they function.
Contraception and STIs. The unit covers contraception methods, including their effectiveness and potential side effects, as well as sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including their symptoms, transmission, and prevention.
Healthy Relationships. The unit covers healthy relationships, including communication skills, consent, boundaries, and respect for oneself and others.
Media Literacy. The unit covers media literacy, including the impact of media on sexual health, how to evaluate media messages, and how to make informed decisions about sexual health.
