MS Health I intends to educate students on the principles of healthy living in order to create a foundation of good health for the future. The course focuses on foundations of human health, the musculoskeletal system and injury prevention, and personal nutrition. Additionally, the aligns with the National Health Education Standards that are designed to "promote health-enhancing behavior while teaching students the positive and negatives health influences that come from within our society." (NHES, 2007)
