Purpose: What problem is this tool trying to solve?
Amira is a personalized reading tutor (artificial intelligence) that is used for assessment and reading practice in the classroom. Amira allows students to choose from several appropriately difficult and engaging texts to read. As students read out loud Amira listens, assesses, and when they struggle, Amira provides feedback and support.
