The Hill Experience
We’re excited to invite you to the Hill Experience — a half-day event designed to give you an insider’s look at what it’s like to be a student at the Paul J. Hill School of Business.

Admission Days

Want to walk away with an admission decision in your hand? Here’s how:
Bring your unofficial transcript (ask your principal or guidance counsellor).
Apply for your program with help from our admissions specialists.
Pay the discounted $50 application fee (cash, credit, or cheque).
You could be admitted on the spot and meet with our team to discuss your next steps. Exceptions: Indigenous Education and Nursing require additional admission steps. If you’re interested in those programs, you can still apply for a second-choice program and take advantage of the discounted fee.
Prefer to apply early? Submit your application online between October 1–10 for the same discounted fee, then pick up your admission decision during Fall Open House.
Beyond tours and info sessions, you’ll find plenty of ways to have some fun while on campus:

Greenall High will be booking a bus to take all students that register for the Open House on October 17! Students need to come to the Greenall Career Office to pick up a permission form and sign up for the bus. The event runs from 10:00 am until 2:30 pm. High School Accelerated Program Information
What is HSXL? The High School Accelerated (HSXL) Program allows students in grades 11 and 12 to take university courses while still in high school. This opportunity helps students jump-start their university studies, gain valuable academic experience, and earn optional dual credit applicable to both high school and university education.
Tuition Reimbursement Award: Students planning to pursue their undergraduate degree at the University of Regina may be eligible for the Tuition Reimbursement Award, which covers the tuition for HSXL courses once they enroll at the U of R after high school graduation. nitôncipâmin omâ Student Success Program (OMA Program)
The nitôncipâmin omâ ("We Are Here") Student Success Program is an initiative offered by the ta-tawâw Student Centre. It aims to support first-year Indigenous students by offering a structured program where students will take core classes together during the Fall and Winter terms. Academic support, student services and student success is the focus of the program, and it is provided at no additional charge. Co-operative Education Program
Students who join our Co-operative Education (Co-op) program earn while they learn! Co-op alternates practical, career-related, paid work terms with semesters in class, providing students with 12-16 months of invaluable career-related work experience by the time they graduate!

Pre-professional Pathways
If a student's goal is to pursue a professional program at another university, they can start by taking pre-professional courses at the University of Regina or one of our Federated Colleges. Professional programs require one to four years of undergraduate study before you can apply. The length and area of study varies by program and institution.

Are you admitted for the Fall term? You should attend one of our Course Registration Days! With both in-person and virtual options, these events will include:
information about university life
advice on how to succeed in your first year
academic advising, and
course registration with the help of an academic advisor from your faculty
These events will take place in April and May, so keep an eye on our events calendar for dates as they are scheduled.

The Entrance Award Application for Fall 2025 is CLOSED. Fall 2026 scholarship applications will open in February 2026.
