Architecture
Architecture is the art or practice of designing and constructing buildings. Architecture degree programs are graduate programs, which means applicants are required to have already completed a degree in a related field of study. There are no architecture university programs in Saskatchewan. Below find information about architecture degree programs at the University of Calgary and the University of Manitoba:

Admission Requirements
Four-year undergraduate degree, ideally with experience in design, the humanities, social sciences, arts, engineering, biological and/or physical sciences – including, wherever possible, studio, laboratory and collaborative learning experiences.
A minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 point system, over the past two years of study (a minimum of 20 courses or 60 units) of the undergraduate degree.

Admission requirements
A four or five year Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, Architectural Science, Environmental Design (Architecture Option) or equivalent
A minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent in the last two full years of study.
For those applying with a University of Manitoba Bachelor of Environmental Design degree, a minimum of C+ in courses EVAR 4002, EVAR 4004, EVAR 4008 and EVAR 4010 is required.
Architectural Technology
Architectural technologists are involved at every stage of building design and construction, from blueprints to building codes and from interior design to space planning. It’s a great career for detail-oriented, visual thinkers who enjoy working in a technology-driven environment. You’ll be able to work in residential, commercial and institutional design and construction.
Graduates from Architectural Technology programs are prepared for a variety of careers in the building design construction industry. Many graduates are self-employed consultants in the home building industry while others work for architects, engineers, interior designers, home designers, facility managers, developers, contractors or construction specialty companies.
Requirements:
Grade 12 with a minimum of 70% in Pre-Calculus 30*
Strongly Recommended:
Physics 30. Physics is not an admission requirement; however, it would be extremely helpful for student success in the program.
