Are you a student aspiring to become an engineer and/or STEM professional. The Saskatchewan Mining Industry offers diverse, lucrative career opportunities. Student participants will enjoy an interactive day at the University of Regina exploring in-demand and high-paying careers within the Saskatchewan Mining Industry.
THINK Mining integrates Engineering, Earth Science, and Environmental Presentation and Lab Activities including:
Particle Distribution Activity
River Table Flume
Environmental Assessment Sensor Activities
Geology and Hydrology Activities
A recent Engineering graduate will also share educational pathway and career experiences.THINK Mining student participants may have the opportunity to explore an actual mine site in an upcoming event.

By scrolling down to the “Upcoming Events” section
Once you find the event, click on the “Find More” section and the link found within that section
It is there that you will find the Google Registration Form, Event Poster and Parent Guardian Permission Form
Students need to register using the Google Registration Form for each event – we will not accept registrations via phone call or parent email
RDIEC will be contacting students who are accepted to the event.

RDIEC may be contacting schools in regards to students selected for the Skills Training programs that run multiple days. These programs depend on students attending all of the sessions. The time commitment is significant and we can only host a limited number of students therefore it is important to fill these spaces with students who are regular attendees.
