A surge protector is a small device to protect a computer, telephone, television set, or the like from damage by high-voltage electrical surges. Some customers will have a whole house surge protector. If found in the field they must be put back, being they are owned by the customer. If you cause any damage when removing the surge protector call your supervisor.
