Digital Meter Read

When reading a digital meter the read needs to be typed in as seen on the display. It is suggested that you use a permanent marker and write the read on the side of the meter as you physically see it. By writing the read on the side you are not in a hurry to type the read into your handheld device. If the display is not clear or is not working contact your Field Manager.

Demand meter read

Some meters will have what is called a demand read. You will have to wait for the LED display to cycle to get both the read and the demand. It is also suggested you write the demand on the side of the meter.
