Mark has spent the majority of his life around Pittsville sports. He was an outstanding football and basketball player in his 4 years at PHS, earning All-Conference in both sports in multiple years. Mark’s been a part of two State Basketball appearances at Pittsville, first as a player in 1990 as he helped lead the Panther boys to their only State Tournament appearance, and then as the head coach of the girls basketball team that made their only State Tournament appearance in 2004. Mark is also the winningest basketball coach in school history. Listed below are some of his accomplishments.
