Paul was a multisport star in Football, Wrestling, Baseball, and Track in his 4 years at PHS.  In wrestling he was a 4-time state qualifier, a state runner-up in 2003, and a state champ in 2004.  He was a Channel 9 All-star in 2003 and 2004 with a career wrestling record of 155-12.  He was a 4-year starter in baseball including first team all-conference selection in 2003 and 2004 leading the conference in batting average (0.667) and stolen bases (23) in 2004.  He was a 3-year starter on the varsity football team. In track in 2004 he had multiple top 3 finishes at the conference track meet. Paul earned 13 varsity letters at PHS.  He was a WIAA Scholar Athlete in 2004.  He was also a volunteer coach at Boyceville, WI working with multiple state champions.
