Dan found the love of athletics as a student at Pittsville High School and found success as a wrestler under head coach and brother Jerry Hahn. Some of Dan’s most monumental wins were also firsts in school history; he was a three-time conference champion and two-time state qualifier.
Later, Dan returned to wrestling as an assistant coach for 12 years and eventually the head coach for 20 years. Dan also dedicated 20 years to the football program, with 12 of those years as the head coach. Listed below are some of his accomplishments:
