1966-1989
Jerry was the first wrestler in school history to compete at the WIAA state Wrestling Tournament. He was considered one the original 4 star wrestlers in Pittsville History as the program just got started. Later Jerry became a teacher and the head wrestling coach at Pittsville High school where Pittsville was one of the most dominating teams in the State of Wisconsin. He sent many wrestlers to State and had Many become State Champions. His crown jewel of coaching was Coaching Matt Hanutke, the first ever 4-time State Undefeated champion. Unfortunately, Jerry passed away in the prime of his life but his legacy and influence lives on today in the wrestling program past and present.
