1958-1961
Star Baseball and Basketball player of the late 50’s and 60’s. Craig was one of the most successful baseball players in Pittsville High School history. A 4-year starter. Pitched a no hitter as an underclassman against Stratford. He later attended UW-Platteville and had a successful career in college where he was the cleanup hitter and a 4-year starter in college as well. He was also a 4-year starter at PHS in Basketball and an All-Conference player in 1961 averaged 17 PPG. He was the team leader in assists and steals. Known for his lockdown defense, he along with Noel Denniston formed a great 1-2 combo to some of the best basketball teams in central Wisconsin.
