Workspace Assignments
Employees working on-site three (3) or more days per week should be assigned a designated workstation when space allows.
Employees working on-site fewer than three (3) days per week may not receive a designated workstation and may use hoteling or touchdown desks.
Workspace assignments may be adjusted based on operational needs.
Employees with a remote work designation, their home office is considered their workspace.
Any exceptions must be approved by the Department Director.
Reserving Shared Workspaces
Employees using any shared workspace must:
Reserve space in advance using the designated booking system (Google Calendar).
Cancel reservations promptly if plans change.
Use the space only during the reserved timeframe.
Do not reserve or hold space without a booking.
Clean Desk and Reset Expectations
Employees using shared workspaces must ensure that the area is prepared for the next person who will use it.
Personal belongings and files may not be stored at shared desks unless authorized.
Remove all personal items after each use.
Log out of all systems.
Secure or properly dispose of confidential documents.
Return equipment to its original setup.
Leave the space clean and orderly.
Security & Confidentiality
Employees are responsible for safeguarding County equipment and confidential information at all times. Sensitive conversations should occur in appropriate private settings. Confidential materials must not be left unattended.
