WHAT IS TUITION REIMBURSEMENT?
Tuition Reimbursement is a tax-free program under IRS regulations that Pitkin County provides for employees who work more than 30 hours a week and are classified as regular, full-time. This benefit is a great way to start, continue or finish an undergraduate or graduate degree in an area that coincides with your current Pitkin County role or a job advancement opportunity. This benefit is subject to budget allocation.

Pitkin County Tuition reimbursement limits for 2023: $5,250 per year / $26,000 lifetime

Contact Human Resources to get the Contract completed and get rolling on your future!
Submit reimbursement via Munis with proper documentation to get reimbursed via your paycheck.
