Now that you know a little about the renewable form of energy known as hydropower, let's continue to the research portion. Here we will learn about the water cycle which provides the opportunity for hydro energy to exist.
Lets start with Evaporation of water- which forms Condensation- it then returns to the surface in the form of Precipitation, from there some will run off allowing for Collection and some will evaporate and return to the atmosphere continuing the water cycle. The water that is collected in this process can be harnessed and used as a form of renewable energy- hydro energy.
By following along with the video, above, you will learn about the four main parts of the water cycle. Next, use the interactive webpages, below, that best fits your age group (you are welcome to look at all) to deeper research the water cycle. Discover how the process of water is always happening- everywhere! While you investigate, complete the worksheet to help guide your water cycle travel!
