Through this activity we will continue to explore wind turbines by conducting research about wind speed. The more a turbine revolves, the more energy is collected. We will be able to tell how much energy can be collected by calculating the speed of the wind to draw conclusions about the number of times the blades rotate. Use the data below to explore wind speed. The speed of the wind is an important component to understanding wind turbines work.
