As a part of this unit, we will be building and experimenting with wind energy. Wind energy can serve as a major energy source, providing enough energy to power a whole house or even a whole town!
At age 14, William Kamkwamba, a Malawian boy built a windmill to power his family's home. Mr. Kamkwamba, now 22, speaks about the invention that made such a big difference for him.
