On this page you can find out all about where you as a student can eat, socialise and most importantly do work outside of the classroom.
FOOD OUTLETS
NORTH DEVON CAMPUS
The Food Hall
Hot cooked breakfast is served from 8.30am until 11.30am.
Lunch is served 11.45am until 2.00pm. This includes a traditional hot special of the day, pasta dishes, baguettes, salads and chips.
Throughout the day you can also grab homemade porridge, sausage rolls, fresh fruit, yoghurts, homemade cakes and a range of hot and cold drinks.
The Basement
Serving wood fired pizzas, burgers, the very popular popcorn chicken, curly fries, chips and combo boxes. We also offer popular meal deals to ensure you get a great deal.
The Sandwich Box
We have a large deli counter offering a range of vegan and gluten free items.
You can choose a sub roll and fillings and it will be made right in front of you and then finished off in the oven to melt the topping.
We also have a range of gluten free and vegan foods including scones, sausage rolls, cakes, rolls, falafel and other light bites.
Costa
At our Costa café we offer a range of hot and cold drinks (including latte, caramel latte, Americano) – and if you bring your own cup, you get a 20p discount! We also have a range of sandwiches, paninis and snacks available to help you through your day.

The Pottery
Serving breakfast, morning break and lunch, and barista coffee throughout the day. At breakfast, we offer a traditional English or a light continental. At lunch, we offer freshly-made plated food. You’ll also find an assortment of cold drinks, sandwiches and baguettes, wraps and salad boxes, handmade cakes, confectionery and much more.

STUDY SPACE
Our Learning Technologies and Library Services offer relaxed, quiet and comfortable places to study. They provide a variety of private study spaces and the opportunity to use the colleges' Chromebooks, or, if you prefer, you can use your own devices. There will always be a friendly member of staff on hand to help.

The Library
What can you borrow from the Library?
With your student card you are allowed to borrow up to eight items at a time, including:
Books
Journals
Chromebooks
Headphones
You must return your items on time to avoid fines. You will be emailed reminders!
If you can’t find what you are looking for in our Library, many of our journals and resources can be found online via the Petroc Learning Technologies and Library Services Moodle page.
The Tech Hub
The Tech Hub has plenty of space for you to do your work, or if you prefer to work in a quiet environment, our Silent Study computer room is always available for you to use. There are also two group rooms that you can book out, either online through the Library Services Moodle page or by asking one of our team. These rooms are great for group projects as they each have a computer and plenty of table space to work on.
Whilst working in the Tech Hub, if you need to work on a computer, why not try out a Chromebook? With our self issue station you have the ability to loan out a Chromebook for four hours, and renew your loan whenever you want. But don’t worry there is always a friendly member or staff on hand if you need some help.
From the Tech Hub you can also hire out media equipment such as ipads, cameras and tripods - just speak to the member of staff at the front desk.
We can also print out a replacement student ID badge if yours is lost or broken.
Study Spaces
There is always a friendly member of staff around to offer support and give guidance with any of your queries or problems. If you forget your password, don’t worry our team can help you reset it whenever you need.
Our team also provide new learners with an online induction to the college and our services, this includes a virtual reality tour of the Learning Technology and Library Services areas across all three sites.

In the Study Centre you will find computers and Chromebooks which are available to use for self study. We also have a large study space where you can use own devices.
