"The background knowledge gained in Environmental Science and Geography at Petroc helped me on my journey through university and helped keep me a step ahead of everyone else on my course. The highlights were the trips such as visiting the Heddon valley, Hartland point and Iceland."

What do students get up to on the course?

Have a look at what students get up to, both in and outside the classroom!

By studying A-level Geography with us, you could have the opportunity to visit Iceland! Previous students walked along the European and North American plate boundary, experienced exploding geysers and ate fermented shark. The snow hole entry into a lava tube cave was unexpected, as was the 35m descent down two spiral staircases!
