"The reason as to why I choose french is because globalisation is inevitable, and in today’s world knowing more than one language proves to be a great advantage in different aspects of our lives! Especially as France is a major influence within the EU.

So far some very interesting topics we have covered are Le Front National - the extreme right french political party and their evolution with an increase in their popularity recently

We also learnt about francophone countries and influence of migration in France.

Im looking forward to reading our exam book, No et Moi, as this will expand my French vocabulary and enhance my reading and analytical skills.

Twice a week my french class has online learning in which we use this time to revise on Our dynamic learning. Petroc have provided all students with computers / chrome books necessary for use, both at college and at home. My A-level subjects compliment each other very well. Taking two humanities plus a language sets me on the right and direct careers route I want to take. I am interested in going into global aid and humanitarian work. I plan on going to university and focusing on the liberal arts with a language."
