Property Photography
First impressions matter. Great photos are the best way to grab applicants' attention and put the best foot forward for your property. We’ve seen dramatic differences in lease-up rates between identical properties based on just the quality of photos. Make the effort to get good photos and a 3D tour (such as matterport…available through PadSplit) to make sure applicants know you care. Also accurate photos are very important. While photoshopped photos or photos that do not accurately depict the room may increase room views and initial bookings, Members will inevitably see the room in person and rate your property poorly, cancel their move-in or move out quickly costing you more money in the long run.
Photography Tips:
High resolution photos are preferred and cell phone photos don’t work well
Make sure your home is clean and staged in an attractive manner
Your home should be well-lit and bright
All walls, ceiling and floors should be level in your photographs
Take photographs of all the spaces and any special details of the home
For each room, take a minimum of two photographs from two different angles so that the viewer gets a sense of what the room is like
Photographs of the exterior are encouraged but not necessary
