New Host "Academy" is PadSplit’s in-depth onboarding and education session designed to set new and growing hosts up for success from day 1

This 1+ hour “Welcome to PadSplit” session walks hosts through the full lifecycle of hosting on PadSplit, covering: listing setup, pricing strategy, member screening, move-ins, messaging, and more.

The goal is to move beyond surface-level onboarding and give hosts a clear, practical understanding of how to run a high-performing, bookable PadSplit home. Host Academy is a cornerstone resource for hosts looking to scale confidently and operate more professionally on the platform.

Day 1

Session 1 focuses on the fundamentals of running a high-performing PadSplit home. It covers how to optimize listings for visibility and conversions, properly screen and approve bookings, manage smooth move-ins and move-outs (including surveys), and stay on top of maintenance through effective ticket management. The session sets clear expectations for daily execution and operational discipline.

Day 2

Session 2 is about professionalizing and scaling operations through standard operating procedures. It distills best practices for managing bookings and members at scale, tracking and optimizing revenue, mitigating asset and risk exposure, and maintaining clear financial reporting. The emphasis is on consistency, accountability, and building systems that support growth.
