The following changes were made for the update of Moodle in August 2025.
As part of an inquiry into Moodle, we have added User-Agent displays to the reporting features of Chiba University's Moodle courses.
This was done to understand users' operating environments.
This allows users with teacher or administrator roles to view more detailed information in their reports.
Targeted Functions: Chiba University Moodle:Report>Log
※This applies only to log display and excludes live logs.
Previously, the IP address field displayed only the IP address of users connecting to Chiba University's Moodle.
As shown in the figure below, the IP address display field now shows the browser type, user environment, and version information as the “User-Agent” display.
When information is clear, it becomes easier to identify problems related to environmental dependencies.
When adding questions from the question bank, you can now display all questions within a category on a single page using the “Show All” option. For details on how to add questions from the question bank, please refer to the following items.
Previously, to re-grade, you had to re-grade all questions. Now, you can re-grade only the questions you select from the “Selected Questions” list.
The following changes were made for the release of Moodle in March 2025.
