How To Use this Resource
You will use this website to navigate the eight topics covered on the drone exam. Once completed, your teacher will provide you with an open book practice quiz.
Your teacher will then have you complete one of two options:
1) Complete the Basic Drone Exam on Transport Canada's Website.
2) Facilitate an experience with a community partner, and provide you with a certificate.
How to log in: Transport Canada's Basic Drone Exam
Instructions to sign up for the Drone Exam on Transport Canada:
Log on to the Transport Canada's GC Key website. You will need to make an account.
Ensure that you use a personal email address to create an account.
Once the account is created, you will be able to select 'take an exam', and select the Basic Drone Exam.
Once it is selected. it will prompt for payment. Your teacher will need to complete this for you.
Once the payment is complete, you will be able to complete the exam at any time.
Once the exam has begun, it must be finished within 90 minutes. Other tabs can be open during the exam. You can go back to previous questions and change your answers if needed.
Once the is completed, the exam will automatically be marked, and results will be sent to your email. The results will not contained questions that are missed, but will tell you what content you should review for future exams.
