RPAS Airframes:
Airplane Style

In order to understand or use an Airplane RPAS, users must have an idea of how each part of the plane affects its movement in flight. 

Parts of an Airplane:

Propeller and Motor: produces thrust (forward movement) on airframe


Fuselage: body of an airplane


Wing/Airfoil: provides lift (allowing it to rise)


Aileron: use to turn

Flaps: increases lift 


Elevator: controls pitch (pointing up and down) of aircraft


Tail: keeps the aircraft flying straight


Rudder: corrects Yaw (Changes left or right facing direction of an aircraft)
