Three Axis of Movement
& Stability
An aircraft has three axis of movement (or three ways in which it moves).
Pitch: lateral axis (forward and backward)
Roll (bank): longitudinal axis (right to left)
Yaw: vertical axis (up and down)
Center of gravity is where the three pass through
Most stable type of aircraft is an airplane, less stable is a helicopter, while the least stable type of aircraft is a multicopter.
