Supplies Needed

Pilot crews should have the following objects; some are in case of emergency, while others are to to ensure that there is as much flight time as possible.

Lithium batteries: are subject to travel (safety) restrictions

Charging areas: in warm areas and/or out of the sun. Keep generators away from these areas (30 meters). Need an emergency fire kit.

Fire extinguisher: needs to be immediately accessible during a flight mission

Manufacturer’s information and Manuals: will have information about your drone’s design limits

Safety Assurance Declaration: required for advanced operations (given to Transport Canada by manufacturer of the drone)

Emergency procedures: required standards for human participants, equipment (fire/first aid kit), access to flight site for emergency vehicles with their estimated response time
