Icing

Icing occurs when water droplets are suspended in clouds, and freeze when they make contact with the airfoil.

Effects of icing: drag increases, thrust falls off, weight of the aircraft grows, lift lessens. Stalling speed increases. Can lead to total loss of control. Can affect the power of RPAS.
