Ben Steiner is lucky enough to work as the Digital Energy Business Development Manager at Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) in Warrendale, PA, where he focuses on grid modernization, use of artificial intelligence in power systems and distributed energy resource management systems (DERMS) to make the electrical grid cleaner, greener and more resilient. 

Ben was born in Colorado, raised in Tennessee, and graduated from the University of Tennessee after only 7 years with degrees in Japanese & International Business and minors in Physics & Statistics. After college, he somehow spent 13 years in Japan and now calls Pittsburgh home, but will forever be a University of Tennessee Volunteers fan.
