Gaurav Arora, MD, FHRS, CEPS-P is a pediatric cardiologist and electrophysiologist. He is board certified in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is the Director of Electrophysiology at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and is an Associate Professor for the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Dr. Arora earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rice University, cum laude, and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed a 4-year residency in internal medicine-pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. He then completed a 3-year fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology, followed by a 1-year fellowship in Pediatric Electrophysiology at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Arora’s clinical interests are in clinical electrophysiology. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society and the Pediatric and Congenital EP Society (PACES). Dr. Arora lives in the north suburbs of Pittsburgh with his wife, three children and their dog. He enjoys baseball and biking.
