Amy Colussy manages the team of engineers who develop, apply and license the Loss of Coolant Accident (LOCA) methodologies within Westinghouse. Her direct reporting team consists of Nuclear, Chemical and Mechanical Engineers and are located in three states with an extended team worldwide. The team develops and uses software tools to model and predict specific nuclear reactor behavior. She provides oversight on customer projects, internal development projects and regulatory activities related to the Westinghouse LOCA product. She is also responsible for team size, team qualifications and personnel development. In this role she uses both her technical background and management skills.
Amy has a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University and an Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. She has worked for Westinghouse her entire 30 year career in various roles from Core Design, Software Design, Project Management and Six Sigma Blackbelt Lead. She enjoys horseback riding, travel, reading and dogs.
