Krissy Guttendorf is the Labeling Team Leader at the National Robotics Engineering Center, which is part of Carnegie Mellon University. There she leads a team that processes 2D and 3D data from computer vision systems into distinct categories for use in machine learning. The labeled data is used to train and improve how autonomous systems see the world. She works across multiple projects to develop employee training and documentation to support the goal of high quality labeling. Krissy utilizes skills in web design, social media, technical writing, document management, human resources, and quality assurance in her day to day activities.

Krissy is a graduate of A.W. Beattie Career Center and has a B.S. in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She has previously worked at USSI Global and MSA Safety where her roles focused on accuracy of company documentation that had a direct impact on their commitment to quality. Krissy enjoys baking, Taekwondo, space, and photography.
