Timothy White Senior Vice President, Development
Tim has a B.A. in economics and international studies from West Virginia University and a Masters in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon’s H.J. Heinz School of Public Policy and Management. Tim was a Stephen Lauble Community Fellow assisting Allegheny County’s Department of Economic Development in business development and policy analysis while studying at Carnegie Mellon. Tim also studied at Karlsruhe Technical University and Otto-Friedrich-Stadt University-Bamberg along with being a participant in the 16th Congress Bundestag Exchange for Young Professionals. Tim has had a wide variety of roles at several high growth technology firms. Tim held executive positions in sales, business development, operations and customer management at Deeplocal Inc. and Landslide Technologies (acquired by J2 Global Communications) along with various positions at Freemarkets (acquired by Ariba). Prior to Landslide Tim worked in the joint office of economic development for Carnegie Mellon and University of Pittsburgh and was the first coordinator for the Greater Oakland Keystone Innovation Zone. Tim joined the RIDC team in January 2011.
