Matt Hartman works as an Instructional Design Specialist at BrainPOP. Before starting there in 2022 he was the Educational Content Manager for the eCYBERMISSION STEM competition at NSTA.

Before joining NSTA he worked as a secondary science teacher for nearly ten years in Northern Virginia. He also has worked on numerous informal science education settings including camps and science centers and strives to spread STEM knowledge to as many students as possible. 

He is also a professional actor having performed in various commercials and industrial films as well as on stages all across the United States, most frequently here in his home town of Pittsburgh, PA at the Arcade Comedy Theater.
