My name is Kyle Morrow and I am a Surety Bond Manager.

I have worked in the Surety Industry since 2008. I graduated from Grove City College in 2008 and moved

to Detroit Michigan where I worked as an underwriter for Liberty Mutual Surety. I then moved back to Pittsburgh in 2012 and started working for Travelers Bond and Specialty. I now manage a team of sixpeople and work daily with contractors from all over the region.

A Surety Bond is a special type of financial instrument that ensures that one part will perform a contract for another party.

These bonds are used on nearly every public project (and many private projects) in the United States from work as simple as paving a street to building a professional sports stadium!

I am excited to talk with you about a relatively unknown niche segment of the financial service sector that can be exciting and lucrative. It is also in desperate need of more young people.
