Brian Collery has a career spanning over 25 years of experience that started in web application development, transformed within the retail e-commerce industry, and led to a specialization in digital analytics and leveraging software tools for business decision support.
In his current role Brian is a member of the Technical Validation team within the Digital Strategy & Solutions Group where he conducts engaging experiences with customers and prospects as they seek to evaluate how Adobe Experience Platform can support their business objectives. He engages with prospects in this discovery process through the development and delivery of product demonstrations, hands on lab workshops, and limited deployments to validate the technology in support of winning software licensing deals.
Prior to this role Brian spent over 10 years with Adobe Consulting Services where he mentored clients to leverage the power of the Adobe Experience Cloud by recommending best practices in all aspects of digital marketing strategy from analytics, audience management, optimization, personalization, customer journey, user experience and governance. Brian also has over 15 years client-side experience and led the digital analytics team at American Eagle Outfitters and pioneered the launch of General Nutrition Centers first ecommerce platform on gnc.com.
Brian earned his MBA from University of Pittsburgh – Katz Graduate School of Business and his BS from Penn State University – Smeal College of Business majoring in Management Science and Information Systems. While at Penn State Brian was an Army R.O.T.C cadet and upon graduating was commissioned a second lieutenant. Brian went on to serve 9 years in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard as a field artillery officer and in the U.S. Army Reserve as a public affairs officer.
In his spare time Brian loves spending time with his wife and two teen aged children exploring the outdoors. He is also a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America as a technology advisor to the Laurel Highlands Council and Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 9329 in McCandless, PA.
