Annmarie Lyons is the Executive Administrator of the University of Pittsburgh Physicians Departments of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, and the Department of Otolaryngology. Ms. Lyons also serves as a member of the UPMC Presbyterian and Shadyside Hospital’s Executive management team. She has been with UPMC for 15  years, working in the Hospital Division and Corporate Services prior to joining the Physician Services Division. Ms. Lyons lead the opening of UPMC East, the first ever activation of a brand new hospital for UPMC before joining Physician Services in 2012. Prior to UPMC, Ms. Lyons worked for Ernst & Young in their healthcare consulting division. 

She is a compassionate and industrious leader with deep experience in Healthcare Provider Services. Ms. Lyons is known for jumping into unknown territory and solving myriads of challenges with humility and a no-nonsense nature of getting the job done.

She has her MHS from The Johns Hopkins University. She currently serves on the Executive Committee of the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania’s Women Leadership Council.
