Greetings Families,
I hope you enjoyed a great, long weekend. That one extra day makes a great difference in getting caught up in life!
Last week, your 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders took the MAP Assessment from NWEA. The MAP test is an adaptive assessment that asks subject area questions in a variety of ways to best determine strengths and growth areas for each student. This Friday, please check your child's take-home folders for their MAP results (this is for all students in 2nd-5th grade). The family report will share all previous MAP assessment test scores and growth percentile by subject. Please reach out to your teachers if you are interested in a further breakdown of your child's MAP assessment results.
Next week, you will receive a link to each Grade-levels Curriculum Night. We have chosen to pre-record the session so that you can watch at your convenience. If there are any questions for the grade-level, there will be a form for you to ask questions. Each grade-level will share all Q&A's with you in their Friday newsletter.
Next week Tuesday is our first PTA meeting for the 21-22 school year. The link to the agenda and times (with the zoom link) is below. All new families, I hope you will stay on for an All Things About Beck with a Q&A about general Beck Essential things.
Enjoy a great week!
Always True Blue,
Amanda Bunch
