Greetings families!
We are so excited to see so many folks signed up to eat lunch with their kiddos. There will be some growing pains as we work through getting everyone back in our Raptor system that keeps track of all guests in our building. Please be patient and come in at least 5 minutes early to get checked in before you are coming in for lunch or volunteering in a classroom. As you visit for lunch, please note that when students go back to class, we ask that you leave the cafeteria and exit through the office. For safety and security, parents cannot follow students to class or the playground.
Getting to see our families in the building again is exciting to all of us! Keep a look out for teacher communications about other opportunities for you to volunteer in class and support your Bulldog!
Enjoy a great week!
Always True Blue,
Amanda Bunch

We donate any items that are left twice a year. Once before the winter break and after the last day of school.
Your student can come to school on Friday, October 29th as their favorite storybook character! At this time, we are not allowing visitors to attend the character parade.
Please save the date of November 11th and join us in honoring our Veteran's at our annual assembly. We are choosing to have this assembly in person. You can choose to come at one of two times:

We will send out an RSVP to help us sign in all visitors.
Northwest ISD has partnered with GeneIQ to use Old Texan Fieldhouse as a drive-through COVID PCR testing site for the community at large. Each COVID PCR test is free, though more extensive testing will be billed to an individual’s insurance.
Students, families, staff and community members can all receive COVID testing in the parking lot in front of Old Texan Fieldhouse without exiting their vehicles. All testing is administered by GeneIQ personnel, while Northwest ISD is only providing its location for use as the testing facility. Patients with symptoms will have the option of a regular COVID-19 PCR test or a combination test called COVID+, that tests for COVID-19, Flu A & B, and RSV.
Testing takes place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. When Northwest ISD Stadium hosts a game, the drive-through testing service will close at 5 p.m. to assist in game-day traffic. To be eligible for a COVID test, the individual being tested must exhibit symptoms or be classified as a close contact. Registration is required; individuals in need of testing can register on location or at www.mycovidappointment.com.
