Sharing health informatics (HI) tools beyond your local area - national process explainer

Our ROST team have been creating and quality assuring health informatics (HI) tools for use at Primary Care settings in the West Midlands for many years. For studies that we lead on, we also have the added responsibility of sharing the HI tools we develop with other LCRNs also delivering the same study. This ensures the study is delivered in a consistent manner around the country in terms of how potentially eligible patients are identified at Primary Care sites.

As part of our delivery of the PRIDES Hub, we recently produced an online resource detailing issues to consider when sharing HI tool files, as well as looking at the PRIDES national process for sharing HI developments in a uniform manner.
