Business Intelligence (BI)

Sponsors are asked to provide updates on study progress at least every three months, in line with the Terms and Conditions for NIHR Clinical Research Network Support. Data on these updates is now available via the Sponsor Engagement tool, created by the BI Team at the Coordinating Centre. We have already extracted data from here and imported it to the Activity Monitoring reports used by the Study Support Service (SSS) team. We worked with the SSS to agree the most suitable layout and now that this is done, our next step is to automate the process.

After that, we will use the same data to feed into Trust reports. This will replace the existing "Reset" section of these reports, giving Trusts easy access to the Sponsor updates of studies running at their sites, as well as a summary of any studies for which they themselves are sponsor.
